A teenage boy was killed and the bad guy goes free; a spoiled brat that wasted millions (while we’re in a recession) on a marriage that lasted 72 days got a (well-deserved) slap in the face with powder and the “bad guy” gets charged and arrested.
What in the actual f*** is wrong with you people?! How is this right?! In what parallel universe does someone get arrested for throwing powder at someone while a cold-blooded killer goes free?
Some may believe that hitting someone with powder is wrong and mean… granted, it is rude and disrespectful but taking a life is evil. Killing someone that was innocent, minding their business and unarmed is senseless and did not need to happen. Letting a killer keep his freedom is unthinkable…
Would you rather have people walking around being rude and disrespectful or someone being senseless and evil?

I’m not writing this to get a million reblogs or likes… I’m writing this to raise awareness. Awareness about how BAD our justice system is and to raise awareness about how bad our judgement (as a country) really is.
If you can explain to me how this makes ANY sense, I encourage and applaud you.

Why is there such awareness now?
Bullying has been going on for decades… centuries even. Why is there awareness now? Campaigns and fundraisers now? Because kids are killing themselves?
If anything, it’s showing them that being suicidal is okay and that the world will kiss your ass because you’re depressed… that’s not going to happen.
I sympathize with suicidal people because I’ve been there. I’ve been bullied… but I use that as a learning experience and something to make me stronger. And as preparation.
School is preparation for the working world. Uniform, proper speaking and stuff like that… being bullied is preparation for the real world. You will get stepped on, stabbed in the back and people will treat you unfairly… but it’s up to you to overcome what they think and become something greater than them. Those same bullies could be bums on the corner… but if you’re dead because of them bullying you, wouldn’t that make them better than you?
Become a doctor… a psychologist, a lawyer, a police officer… even an entertainer! Music can help people more than medicine at times… do something like that. Don’t go and kill yourself. There are people that love you and there are people that will love you in the future. You don’t have to go kill yourself and take yourself away from the world because a few people picked on you.
I’m not siding with anyone but I’m not on this train either. I’m not giving in to the whole suicide/bullying situation.
Go ahead and criticize me. It won’t change my opinion so if wasting your time is “worth it” then by all means go ahead.
Bullying is wrong and killing yourself is wrong but if you love yourself, who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks? In the words of the late and great Whitney Houston, “Learning to love yourself, it is the greatest love of all…” 💜
Love yourself and don’t let anyone take that away from you.
